In honor of ze royal engagement of the UK’s Prince William and society girl Kate Middleton, Lifetime is, of course, releasing a film in the near future on the couple’s romance, aptly (if not creatively) titled “William & Kate.” The film will follow the pair from their meeting at the University of St Andrews in Scotland through their post-university days, their temporary breakup, and the eventual engagement that really has taken the world’s media by storm.

I’ll be watching this, of course, and not just because a third of the film takes place at my alma mater. In the last week or so, Lifetime has been releasing the names of the actors who will be portraying the couple … and I think we should just take a moment to appreciate Camilla Luddington, who will be playing Kate.

Quite similar, no? Let’s just be honest: they’re both pretty damned attractive. (Um, hello!) And I’m pretty interested to see how Camilla uses this role, and whether she can portray adequately how sweet and genuine the future princess is in real life.
